3. Matters Arising from the Previous Meeting Minutes, 18th June 2015: Bridge night - No news yet from Peter. Shrove Tuesday Pancake event. Snag as Harrowbarrow village hall is booked, it was agreed that Gunnislake hall would be suitable. Caroline Lake to book the hall - Tuesday 9th February 2016. Photographs for Christmas cards. Two possible sources seem expensive - at about 70p each. 'Coliflower' were suggested as possibly a less costly source, this will be checked out as the cards are needed well before Christmas if we are to proceed.

4. Membership: Debbie has printed application forms and handed them + a list of the people who had expressed an interest, to representatives of the 3 churches for distribution. Membership cards have not been produced as it was agreed that at present there was no need for them.

5. Bank Account: The bank account is now open!! A copy of the accounts was distributed to those present. The balance on 18th August 2015 was 4090.00

"Occasional Choir" is not available, but Doug Dillow and Chris Painter will provide 'some musical entertainment'. A quiz was suggested as these are popular. Debbie will do posters, flyers should be sent to Harrowbarrow School. Tickets 4. Items to be brought and by whom were agreed.

7. Christmas tree festival - in Gunnislake Church: Set up on Thursday 10th December, event on 11th, 12th, 13th and take down on Monday 14th. Wording of entry forms agreed. Forms to be returned by Monday 9th November. Boards need organising. Refreshments will be done in the Church. Signs needed. Lights on steps need checking and possibly repairing. Possibly some service on 12th or 13th? 'come and sing carols'?

8. A.O.B: Chris suggested that Pentecost, mid May, might be an appropriate time for a get together. Harrowbarrow and Metherell WI are holding a celebratory afternoon tea 3 - 5 in the hall on 19th September, there will be entertainment. Tickets 5. The Harrowbarrow Church Loo is one of the beneficeries. There was an article in the East Cornwall Times about the first wedding in Harrowbarrow Church. Gunnislake Festival. The church hall is hired out to the local group of artists, however it was suggested that this should be broadened to include events such as workshops, childrens art competition. This was thought to be a good idea.
